This Privacy Policy explains how Complexions by Alieth (“we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information through this website. It includes the notices required by California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA) and the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA).
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you send the contact form (on a page or inside the chat), we collect your name, phone number, email address if you give it, the topic and your message. Please do not send medical or skin-health details through the website.
Appointments, gift cards and products. Booking happens on Acuity Scheduling, gift cards on Square, and product orders on the product brand’s store. Those services collect what they need for your appointment, payment or order, and their own privacy policies apply. Any intake or consent forms you fill out for your appointment are handled through the booking service, not this website.
Chat questions. The chat on this website is automated and answers from the information on this website. We do not store the text of chat questions; we keep only anonymous monthly counts.
Information collected automatically. Our server records technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time, to run and secure the site. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies.

Photos of clients
Before and after photos and other client photos appear on this website and our social media only with that client’s permission. If you appear in a photo and want it removed, contact us and we will take it down.

- Delete it;
- Correct it;

How to ask. Use the contact form and write “Privacy request,” or message us on Instagram. We will confirm within 10 business days and respond within 45 days. We verify requests by matching details you give us with what we have. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent’s authority.
Shine the Light. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We do not track visitors across websites, so the site does not respond differently to “Do Not Track.” A Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is treated as a request to opt out of sale and sharing, which we already do not do.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), spam protection and limited access. No website is completely secure, so please do not send payment card or health information through the contact form or chat.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through it. A parent or guardian should book and contact us for a minor.
